Rob Hudson
Born and raised in Elk River, Minnesota, Rob's career has taken him on a cross country adventure. A St. Cloud State alum, Rob began his career in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. He then went onto Madison, Los Angeles, and San Diego (where he won an Emmy) before returning home to Minneapolis and joining KARE 11.
In his spare time, you can catch Rob fishing for walleyes on Lake Mille Lacs or hunting the woods of northern Minnesota. While in Southern California, Rob took up surfing, which he still loves to do in the chilly waters of Lake Superior!
Rob enjoys all sports, but his favorite is hockey. Rob serves as the TV play by play announcer for St.Cloud State hockey. He played for both the Austin Mavericks and the Waterloo Blackhawks of the USHL.
Rob also enjoys listening to all kinds of music, including blues, rock and country. He lists his favorite artists as (in no particular order) The Replacements, Howlin Wolf, Muddy Waters, Social Distortion, Garbage, The Hold Steady, and The Rolling Stones.
Rob and his wife Becca live in Minneapolis with their daughter Presley.
